How this site works
This is an official Oven Lab website. It exists so you can check the work before you book.
Who runs it
theovenlabreviews.com is operated by The Oven Lab, the oven-cleaning business in St Albans. It is not an independent review service and does not rate or compare other companies. The business itself sits at theovenlab.co.uk, where you can book.
Where the feedback comes from
There are three kinds, and they are always labelled differently.
- Google. The rating comes from the public Google listing for The Oven Lab. Reviews on Google are written by Google users and published there. This site quotes short excerpts only, in quotation marks, credited to Google, with the reviewer’s name shortened to a first name and initial. To read a review in full, use the link to the Google listing.
- Customer testimonials. Where a customer agrees to have their words and name published here, the testimonial is shown with that agreement recorded, and kept separate from Google reviews. None have been published yet.
- Feedback sent directly. Treated the same way: published only with the customer’s agreement, and labelled as sent to The Oven Lab.
Summaries such as “What customers mention” are The Oven Lab’s own, drawn only from the current Google reviews, and are never presented as something a customer said. We do not generate testimonials, and we do not alter the words inside a quotation.
What the numbers mean
Google currently shows 5.0 out of 5, checked on 11 October 2026. This site cannot independently prove who wrote each review, and does not claim to. Read the wording as well as the score, and read the reviews on the Google listing.
Google shows how long ago a review was posted rather than the exact date, so we show the same relative age and the date it was last checked. If the listing has changed since, the listing is the authority.
Photos and video
Photographs and video on this site are from real Oven Lab cleans. Where a photo cannot be tied to one job it is grouped by what it shows, and says so. A photo is only labelled Before if no grease has been removed yet, and a before/after slider is only used for the same oven photographed from the same place. We show the general area of a job, never a customer’s address, and we do not add a place name that we do not know.

The Oven Lab’s prices and services are taken from theovenlab.co.uk, and the rating from its Google listing. If anything here looks out of date, email support@theovenlab.co.uk and it will be checked.
